The Freisinger Buckl is a nature reserve in the municipality of Eitting ( Erding district ), west of Gaden . It has an area of ​​22.01 hectares and is registered with the Bavarian State Office for the Environment under the number NSG-00176.01.

The Isar has before it was regulated, a big in this area gravel piled up. Specialized insects live in symbiosis with plants on the semi-arid grass that is predominant there . The area is considered to be the one with the most species of butterflies in the Erding district.

To preserve this biotope , it is mowed annually and the clippings removed. In addition, the reeds and goldenrod are removed and the bushes are checked.
