Fridolin Hauser

Fridolin Hauser (born June 14, 1912 in Näfels ; † June 19, 1987 there , Catholic , entitled to live in Näfels) was a Swiss politician (CVP) .

biography

Fridolin Hauser was born on June 14, 1912 as the son of the owner of the Linthhof coffee roasting company, Fridolin Hauser Senior. He first attended the convent school in Näfels and boarding schools in Freiburg and Sarnen . Then he took a study of law in Friborg and Bern on which he in 1939 with the promotion of Dr. iur. completed.

After obtaining the advocacy patent in Schwyz , he worked as a lawyer and businessman in Näfels.

In 1947 he married Charlotte, the daughter of the master builder Franz Zech. Fridolin Hauser died on June 19, 1987, a few days after turning 75 in Näfels.

politics

Hauser was first politically active from 1942 to 1950 as a councilor for Näfels and as an orphan council. In addition, he presided over the welfare congregation from 1947 to 1956. In addition, he represented the Catholic People's Party in the Glarus District Administrator from 1944 to 1953 . After that he was from. 1953 to 1955 worked as chief judge. Most recently, between 1955 and 1974, Hauser was in the government council of the finance and trade directorate. There he worked out the cantonal tax law of 1970. Hauser was also a member of the budget and auditing committee , the banking committee and the board of directors of the Kantonalbank.
