Peace Spring (Bad Berleburg)

The Peace Spring is located 740 m above sea level in the Rothaarkamm nature reserve on the Grenzweg in Bad Berleburg , 2 km east of Schanze . It is a memorial to the fallen in World War members of the Sauerland Mountain Club . The inscription on the plaque reads "Friedensquelle / den gefallenen Heroes des / SGV zum Gedächtnisht / Abt. Berleburg Abt. Girkhausen" The water of the spring flows over a nameless tributary into the Odeborn , the Eder , the Fulda and the Weser into the North Sea .
