Friederike Romberg (born January 9, 1985 in Bonn ) is a German beach volleyball and volleyball player .

Sports career hall

In 1994 Friederike Romberg started playing indoor volleyball at USC Münster and then played for SuS Olfen . After moving to FT Adler Kiel , she was promoted to the Second Bundesliga in 2009 , where she then played for Kiel TV from 2009/10 . After a twelfth place in 2009/10, the KTV rose again to the Regionalliga Nord, where second place was achieved in 2010/11. After a third place in 2011/12, Friederike Romberg was runner-up in the newly created third division with the KTV 2012/13 .

Sports career beach

In 2000, the Bonn native started her beach volleyball career parallel to the hall. At first she played alongside Susann Nitzsche. In her only tournament with Geeske Banck , she finished second at the U23 European Championship in Poland in 2003. In the same year, the Bonn native and Sara Goller became U20 European champions in Salzburg . In 2004 Friederike Romberg played with Claudia Lehmann , in 2005 with Maria Kleefisch and in 2006 with Ruth Flemig . Romberg / Kolokotronis won the silver medal at the student world championships in Cyprus this year. After a beach break in 2007, Friederike Romberg only played beach volleyball sporadically, especially with her sister Anna.
