Friedrich Carl Endemann

Friedrich Carl Endemann (born April 10, 1833 in Marburg , † June 30, 1909 in Kassel ) was a German medic and a member of the German Reichstag .

Life

Endemann attended the Lyceum Friedericianum in Kassel and studied medicine in Zurich , Marburg, Gießen , Göttingen and Vienna . In Marburg he was a member of the Corps Teutonia . Since 1860 he was a general practitioner in Kassel and later also chairman of the medical association of the province of Hessen-Nassau. He was a member of the city authorities in Kassel since 1883 and since 1894 a member of the city council and deputy mayor of the royal seat. He was also a member of the provincial and municipal council since 1893.

From 1891 to 1893 and from 1898 to 1903 he was a member of the German Reichstag for the constituency of Kassel District 2 ( Kassel , Melsungen ) and the National Liberal Party . He was also a member of the Prussian House of Representatives from 1899 to 1903 as a member of the constituency of Kassel 3 (Stadtkreis Kassel) .

In 1903 he was made an honorary citizen of the city of Kassel.
