Friedrich Dickmann

Friedrich Dickmann (born November 10, 1896 in Arnsberg , Westphalia province , † August 25, 1973 in Bad Kissingen , Bavaria ) was a German local politician.

After his school days, Dickmann served in the Wehrmacht. From 1920 to 1923 he completed his studies at the University of Local Administration in Düsseldorf. In 1945 he came to Marburg an der Lahn , where he became a local political advisor. In December he was appointed as General Counsel for officials appointed for life.

From February 5, 1946 he was appointed by the American military government mayor of Marburg, but was replaced on July 31, 1946 by the democratically elected Karl Theodor Bleek . Dickmann then worked in various offices in Hesse. In 1971 he moved to Bad Kissingen, where he died in 1973.
