Friedrich Hektor Hundt

Friedrich Hektor Hundt , Count von Hundt (born September 5, 1809 in Unterweikertshofen ; † January 3, 1881 in Munich ) was the royal Bavarian treasurer and ministerial advisor.

Life

After studying law, Friedrich Hektor Hundt from the family of Hundt zu Lautterbach (also known as Graf von Hundt ) worked in the Bavarian civil service, from 1848-76 as a ministerial advisor in the Ministry of the Interior. He was the master of Lauterbach .

He devoted himself to the study of Bavarian history, especially as a member of the Historical Association of Upper Bavaria , of which he was first chairman from 1856 to 1867 and from 1876 to 1879. In 1858 he became an extraordinary and in 1864 a full member of the Royal Bavarian Academy of Sciences .
