Friedrich Leopold Cornely

Friedrich Leopold Cornely (born September 1, 1824 in Dülken ; † June 26, 1885 in Aachen ) was a German notary and politician.

Life

Friedrich Leopold Cornely attended the Marzellengymnasium in Cologne until 1842 and studied law in Heidelberg and Bonn . In 1843 he became a member of the Fridericia Bonn fraternity and in 1844 a co-founder of the Alemannia Bonn fraternity . He then worked as a trainee lawyer and notary public in Mönchengladbach . From 1858 he was a notary in Treis and from 1869 in Aachen. He was a member of the supervisory board of Gladbacher Feuerversicherungsgesellschaft.

From 1863 to 1867 and from 1869 to 1870 Cornely was a member of the Prussian House of Representatives . From 1867 to 1871 he was also a member of the Reichstag of the North German Confederation for the constituency of Koblenz 6 ( Adenau , Cochem , Zell ). In this capacity he was also a member of the Customs Parliament . He belonged to the German Progressive Party .
