Friedrich Teuscher

Christian Friedrich Gottfried Teuscher (* 1791 in Delitzsch ; † March 26, 1865 in Mellingen ) was a German tutor , Protestant pastor , superintendent , diocesan , church councilor , writer , book author and librettist .

Life

From 1813 he worked as a private tutor with Jakob Friedrich von Fritsch in Weimar and his libretto was based on the work The Lovers' Concert by Franz Carl Adelbert Eberwein (1786–1868). The work was premiered on February 24, 1815 in Weimar.

From 1816 to 1824 he was responsible as a deacon in Blankenhain a . a. for Rottdorf and Schwarza , where he was present as a preacher on May 12, 1817 when parts of the gallery threatened to collapse.

Later he was appointed pastor, senior pastor, diocesan and superintendent.

When he died in 1865, he was also a councilor and a secret councilor.
