Friedrich Wilhelm Kirchner

Friedrich Wilhelm Kirchner (* 2 September 1861 in Holleben, Merseburg , † 3. May 1921 in Münster ) was District Administrator of the district Alsfeld and Oberpräsidialrat in Westphalia .

Life

After graduating from high school and doing military service as a one-year volunteer with the Fusilier Regiment “General-Feldmarschall Graf Blumenthal” (Magdeburgisches) No. 36 , Kirchner studied law in Halle / Saale and Tübingen . After the first state examination in law, he worked as a trainee lawyer at the district governments of Lüneburg and Merseburg . As a government assessor, he was employed in 1888 to provide assistance to the district government of Bromberg . His election as deputy district administrator of the Alsfeld district fell on December 10, 1890. In the following year, initially provisional district administrator, Kirchner became definitely district administrator on February 3, 1892. Three years later he moved to the Münster district government and headed the church and school department as senior government councilor. In 1907 he was temporarily assigned to the Oberpräsidium Münster for temporary employment and was appointed to the Oberpräsidialrat on November 1, 1913 . In 1912 he was a deputy member of the Provincial Council and from 1914 an active member of the Provincial Council. Kirchner was a privy councilor . He died while on active service.
