Friedrich von Aschoff (politician)

Friedrich Georg Hermann Hans von Aschoff (born August 4, 1864 in Rastatt , † August 20, 1955 in Werningerode ) was a Prussian administrative officer and member of parliament .

Life

Aschoff was a son of the Prussian major general Hugo von Aschoff (1829-1906) and his wife Therese nee Dieck. From 1869 he attended elementary school in Kassel and then in 1870/71 the elementary school in Merseburg . He then went to high schools in Oldenburg and Greifswald , where he passed his Abitur on March 12, 1884. He then studied law at the universities of Jena, Heidelberg and Berlin. On November 28, 1887, he passed the first state examination at the Berlin Superior Court .

As of January 30, 1888, he worked as a legal trainee at the Sömmerda District Court, the Naumburg / Saale Regional Court, the Erfurt public prosecutor's office and a lawyer in Erfurt. From April 25, 1890, he worked as a government trainee with the government in Kassel and from May to November 1891 at the Swinoujscie district office. In 1892 he became a representative of the district administrator in Frankenberg and on April 8, 1893, he passed the second state examination in Berlin.

On May 31, 1893, Aschoff was transferred to the Minden government as a government assessor. There he worked in the school department. In June 1896 he moved to the Potsdam government in the same capacity. In 1901 he became a councilor in the Wiesbaden government. On April 1, 1902, he became provisional district administrator in the district of Melsungen , where he was definitively district administrator on October 27, 1902. On January 7, 1914, he became a senior councilor in the Koblenz government. He later worked for the Magdeburg government before retiring in 1929.

From 1904 to 1913 he represented the Melsungen district in the Kassel municipal council .

Marriage and offspring

On June 2, 1893, he married Wilhelmine Charlotte, born Jans-Rothe, in Berlin (born February 5, 1871 in Paramaribo ; † January 24, 1954 in Werningerode). The couple had several children.
