Maximilian von Negelein

Maximilian von Negelein (born September 17, 1852 in Groß Strehlitz , Upper Silesia , † April 16, 1911 in Marburg ) was a German administrative lawyer and member of the Kingdom of Prussia.

Life

Negelein studied law at the Kaiser Wilhelms University in Strasbourg . In 1874 he became active in the Corps Palatia Strasbourg . In 1885 he was appointed provisional , in 1886 he was finally appointed district administrator in the then Prussian district of Melsungen . In 1894 he moved to the (also Prussian) district of Marburg , where he remained in office until his death. He was Rittmeister of the Prussian Landwehr . In 1899 he was elected to the House of Representatives as a member of the constituency of Kassel 10 (Marburg) (XIXth electoral term). He belonged to the faction of the Conservative Party . Re-elected in 1904 and 1908, he died at the age of 58 in the 4th session of the XXI. Electoral term.
