Friedrich von Stülpnagel (politician)

Friedrich von Stülpnagel (* July 8, 1847 on Gut Grünberg , Uckermark , Brandenburg ; † August 25, 1914 on Gut Lindhorst , Prenzlau district ) was a German landowner .

Life

Stülpnagel's parents were Heinrich von Stülpnagel (1799–1857), landlord on Grünberg, and Natalie geb. von Kriegsheim (1812–1888). He married on March 21, 1873 in Berlin Malwine von Natzmer (born August 13, 1854 on Gut Radem, Regenwalde district , † April 8, 1931 on Gut Lindhorst), the daughter of the landowner Karl von Natzmer , landlord on Radem, and Bertha by Boehn .

Stülpnagel studied law at the Georg-August-Universität Göttingen and was active with Hermann von Hatzfeldt in the Corps Saxonia Göttingen from Michaelis 1867 to Michaelis 1869 . At the beginning of the Franco-Prussian War , he joined the Prussian Army as a volunteer . After he retired as a lieutenant in 1872 , he bought the Battin estate near Prenzlau . In 1881 he also acquired the Lindhorst estate with 476 hectares.

He was curator of the knight academy in the municipality of Dom Brandenburg and canon of the cathedral . He was a legal knight of the Order of St. John and a member of the Prussian manor house .
