history

With the guitarist Veronica Burnuthian, the bassist Martin Tagar and the drummer Erol Dizdar, today's Friends Of Gas finally formed . The band's music is reminiscent of Surrogate , Messer or the Einstürzende Neubauten .

At the end of 2016, their first album Fatal Schwach was released on the Staatsakt label , which was recorded in the Kafe Kult in the Bürgerpark Oberföhring . The reviews for the album were mostly very positive. On blogs.taz.de , Fatal Schwach was voted number two on the list of albums of 2016. The TV station Arte's music magazine Tracks reported on the band on December 22, 2016.

In mid-2020, the band's second album, Kein Wetter , was released again at Staatsakt. At the invitation of Markus Acher , the album was recorded in the "Alien Research Studio" in Weilheim .
