The von Fritsch family goes back to Thomas von Fritsch, who was led by Emperor Karl VI. In 1730 it was raised to the nobility and in 1742 to the baron class.

history

The safe line of the family begins with Niel Fritzsch (around 1440–1501), resident in Obergräfenhain , Saxony. His descendant Thomas von Fritsch, who was ennobled in 1730, lived mainly on the Seerhausen manor near Riesa from 1729 . His marriage to his wife Johanna Sophie Winckler von Dölitz had seven children. The family has produced numerous personalities, including: a. Karl Wilhelm von Fritsch or Carl Abraham Graf von Fritsch (1734–1812), who was Chancellor of Saxony.

The coat of arms from 1730 shows a silver rafter in blue , accompanied by three (2: 1) gold stars. On the helmet with blue-silver helmet covers on the right and blue-gold covers on the left, a gold star between open blue ones. each flight awarded a gold star .
