Friuli-Annia

Since 1995, white and red wines with “controlled designation of origin ” ( Denominazione di origine controllata - DOC) have been produced and sold under the name Friuli-Annia in the northern Italian region of Friuli-Venezia Giulia . The DOC was last updated on March 7, 2014.

Growing area

The growing area is in the former province of Udine . Cultivation is permitted in the following municipalities: Carlino , San Giorgio di Nogaro , Marano Lagunare , Torviscosa , Castions di Strada , Porpetto , Bagnaria Arsa and Muzzana del Turgnano .

generation

The following types of wine are produced: ( 90% of the named grape variety must be included. A maximum of 10% other analogous grape varieties that are approved for cultivation in the province of Udine may be added.)

The blended wines (Rosso, Bianco and Rosato) may be made from the analogue grape varieties approved in the Province of Udine. Pearl wines and sparkling wines are also produced.
