Friuli-Annia
Since 1995, white and red wines with “controlled designation of origin ” ( Denominazione di origine controllata - DOC) have been produced and sold under the name Friuli-Annia in the northern Italian region of Friuli-Venezia Giulia . The DOC was last updated on March 7, 2014.
Growing area
The growing area is in the former province of Udine . Cultivation is permitted in the following municipalities: Carlino , San Giorgio di Nogaro , Marano Lagunare , Torviscosa , Castions di Strada , Porpetto , Bagnaria Arsa and Muzzana del Turgnano .

The following types of wine are produced: ( 90% of the named grape variety must be included. A maximum of 10% other analogous grape varieties that are approved for cultivation in the province of Udine may be added.)

- Friuli-Annia Cabernet Franc
- Friuli-Annia Cabernet Sauvignon
- Friuli-Annia Refosco dal Peduncolo Rosso
- Friuli-Annia Friulano
- Friuli-Annia Pinot Bianco
- Friuli-Annia Pinot Grigio
- Friuli-Annia Verduzzo Friulano
- Friuli-Annia Traminer aromatico
- Friuli-Annia Sauvignon
- Friuli-Annia Chardonnay
- Friuli-Annia Malvasia ( Malvasia Istriana )
The blended wines (Rosso, Bianco and Rosato) may be made from the analogue grape varieties approved in the Province of Udine. Pearl wines and sparkling wines are also produced.
