The European Football Championship Women 1987 ( Engl. : UEFA Women's Championship ) was the second playout of the European continental championship in women's football and was held from 11 to 14 June in pure Knockout system K. in Norway instead. All 16 registered national teams had to go through the qualification, because the host of the final tournament was only determined at short notice from among the four qualified teams after completion.

Host Norway used their home advantage and became European champions by beating defending champions Sweden in the final .

The German team failed in qualification group 1. They played against Norway 2: 3 and 0: 0, against Finland 1: 0 and 0: 1 and against Denmark 2: 0 and 0: 3.

Finally, the following four teams qualified for the tournament:
