Fu Wenjun (2010)

Fu Wenjun ( Chinese  傅文俊 , Pinyin Fù Wénjùn , * 1955 in Chongqing , China) is a Chinese conceptual artist and photographer . He graduated from the Sichuan Fine Arts Institute and is a member of the Chinese Photographic Association (CPA) and the Professional Photographers Association of America (PPA). He is vice-chairman of the organizing committee of the Chinese International Art Exhibition and vice-chairman of the Council for Promotion of the Community of Nations.

Fu's work consists of conceptual photography, painting, sculpture and installation with influences from traditional Chinese art. He developed the concept of digital pictorial photography .

His works have been exhibited in international museums and art halls, including the National Art Museum of China , the Museu Europeu de Arte Moderno , The University of Hong Kong , the Grand Palais des Champs-Elysées in Paris , the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center in New York City , Tokyo Metropolitan Art Museum , Yokohama Museum of Art, Hong Kong City Hall and the Old Summer Palace in Beijing .
