Günter Dach

Günter Dach (born August 27, 1915 in Berlin ; † July 25, 2010 there ) was a German politician ( CDU ).

Life

Günter Dach joined the CDU after the Second World War . At the same time he was involved in the trade union movement . In 1949 he was elected CDU district chairman and the state executive committee of the Berlin CDU . From 1958 to 1975 he was a member of the Berlin House of Representatives for four electoral terms . Dach was a member of the Council of Elders and served on the Labor and Social Affairs Committee.

In his main occupation, Dach was initially an employee of the German Employees' Union and later worked for the BfA . He also worked as a volunteer labor judge.

In May 1981 he was awarded the honorary title of “ City Elder of Berlin ”.

Günter Dach was buried in the New St. Michael Cemetery in Berlin-Mariendorf .
