Günter Koderhold

Günter Koderhold (born March 1, 1954 in Aachen ) is an Austrian doctor and politician of the Freedom Party of Austria (FPÖ). Since 2015 he has been a member of the Vienna State Parliament and a member of the Vienna City Council .

Life

From 1968 Günter Koderhold attended what was then the Bundesgymnasium and Bundesrealgymnasium II in Vienna - Leopoldstadt , later the Sigmund-Freud-Gymnasium , where he graduated in 1973 . Then he began studying medicine at the University of Vienna , which he in 1979 with the promotion to Doctor of Medicine graduated. From 1974 to 1976 he worked as a freelancer at the LBI for Biology in the Seibersdorf Research Center with a focus on DNA repair . In 1986 he completed his training as a general practitioner , in 1992 his training as a specialist in radiology and in 1995 his specialist training in radio-oncology and radiation therapy and obtained a diploma as a clinical investigator .

From 1988 to 2007 and from 2012 to 2017 he was a member of the Chamber Council of the Vienna Medical Association , from 1988 to 1992 he was also a delegate of the Austrian Medical Association and from 1992 to 1998 chairman of the training commission. From 2003 to 2011 he acted as a consultant for medical internet and telematics at the Vienna Medical Association. Koderhold is a senior physician in the special department for radiation therapy at Hietzing Hospital with the Rosenhügel Neurological Center .

On November 24, 2015, at the beginning of the 20th electoral term, he was sworn in as a member of the Vienna State Parliament and Municipal Council , where he is a member of the Municipal Committee for Social Affairs, Health and Sport, the Municipal Disability Committee and the investigative committee. He is also a member of the board of the sick care institution (KFA) of the employees of the city of Vienna and in the board of trustees of psychosocial services in Vienna. Koderhold is a member of the Catholic Austrian Student Union (K.Ö.St.V.) Ostaricia Vienna in the Middle Schools Cartel Association (MKV).
