Günter Schischefski (also Günter Schischefsky ; born August 11, 1925 in Königsberg (Prussia) , † July 15, 2007 in Berlin ) was a German ice hockey player and coach as well as soccer player . He is the grandfather of Sven Gerike , who is also an ice hockey player.

Schischefski began playing ice hockey at his home club VfK Königsberg . In March 1941, at the age of 16, he scored his first goal in the men's team of VfK Königsberg against SV Rastenburg (4: 3). Later he played himself at the ice hockey stronghold SV Rastenburg. With the team from East Prussia he became German junior ice hockey champion in Prague in 1942 . He scored a goal or provided an assist in every game. He also scored a goal in the final. As a result of the war , Schischefsky moved to the GDR , but remained true to his passion. In 1957 he scored the first goal at an A-World Cup for the GDR national team .

From 1950 to 1960 he played as a defender for the BSG "Kristall" and for the SG Dynamo in Weißwasser in Upper Lusatia. He completed a total of 64 games for the GDR national team and was their coach from 1976 to 1980.

In addition to his career as an ice hockey player, he was also a soccer player and played for BSG Chemie Meißen and Chemie Weißwasser .
