Günter Schuler

Günter Schuler (born December 22, 1955 in Völklingen ) is a German journalist and author . Schuler learned typesetter and published in various magazines and books with a focus on image processing / graphics software , media design and the Internet . He also deals with pop and net culture and with Wikipedia . Schuler lives in Frankfurt am Main .

After Schuler had worked for around a year under the pseudonym “Roger Koslowski” in the German-language Wikipedia and had personal conversations with authors, he published the book Wikipedia inside in July 2007 , in which he provided information about the project, an introduction for newcomers and its evaluation of the lexicon. In addition to positive aspects, in this book, in various press interviews and in a blog , he highlights aspects worthy of criticism, such as the structures that he perceives as undemocratic and a possible right-wing extremist infiltration of the online encyclopedia.
