Günther Trysna

Günther Trysna (born January 6, 1926 ) is a former German party and economic functionary ( NDPD ) of the GDR . From 1982 to 1990 he was General Director of VOB "National".

Life

Trysna received a degree in economics and was awarded a Dr. rer. oec. PhD. In the early 1950s he joined the National Democratic Party of Germany (NDPD). He worked in the tax department of the Ministry of Finance of the GDR and in 1969 was the head of the central working group for accounting and statistics for companies with state participation (BSB), production cooperatives of the craft (PGH) and private industrial companies. Eventually he became a functionary of the NDPD. He was initially a research assistant at the secretariat of the main committee of the NDPD and from 1979 head of the financial administration and party operations department in the secretariat of the NDPD main committee. In 1982 he became General Director of the Association of Organizational Companies "National" of the NDPD (successor to Herbert Schlehahn ). At the 12th party congress in April 1982 he was elected a member of the NDPD main committee. After the financial conduct of party chairman Heinrich Homann became known and investigated in early December 1989 , Trysna was suspended from duty. On December 8, 1989, the secretariat of the main committee of the NDPD applied to the public prosecutor of the GDR for an investigation against Homann and Trysna. After the party control commission of the NDPD, his party membership was suspended. Trysna was dismissed on January 17, 1990 with immediate effect from his position as head of department and general director of VOB National.
