Główna is a village in the municipality of Pobiedziska in the Poznański powiat in the Greater Poland Voivodeship in western central Poland with a school administration office . The place is located about 2 km north of Pobiedziska and 26 km northeast of the state capital Poznań .

history

After the second partition of Poland in 1793, the place belonged to the Schroda district and from January 4, 1900 to the Posen-Ost district . The name was changed that year from Gluwno to Glowno bei Pudewitz . The community encyclopedia for the Kingdom of Prussia from 1905 lists 15 inhabited houses on 301.6 hectares for the place under the name Glowno bei Pudewitz . The 153 residents are made up of 74 German-speaking and nine Polish-speaking Protestants as well as 70 Catholics, including one with a German mother tongue, 67 with Polish, two with German and one more. They were distributed among 29 multi-person households. The Protestant parish belonged to the parish of Pudewitz , the Catholic to the parish of Pudewitz. For January 1, 1908, it is stated that the place was part of the Pudewitz police district . On December 1, 1910, the place had 157 inhabitants. From 1975 to 1998 the place belonged to the Poznan Voivodeship . The town of Główienka also belongs to the Schulzenamt.
