Gōshi Ōkubo ( Japanese 大 久保 剛 志 , Ōkubo Gōshi ; born June 14, 1986 in Iwanuma ) is a Japanese football player .

Career

Gōshi Ōkubo learned to play football in the youth team of the second division Vegalta Sendai in Sendai . Here he also signed his first professional contract in 2005. From 2008 to 2010 he was loaned to third division Sony Sendai FC . Here he scored 29 goals in 72 games. In 2012, after his contract with Vegalta Sendai ended, he was signed by Sony Sendai. After 47 games and 13 goals, he moved to Yamagata in mid-2013 , where he signed a contract with second division club Montedio Yamagata . By December he had seven missions. In 2014 he left Japan and moved to Thailand . Here he signed a contract in Bangkok with Bangkok Glass . The club played in the country's highest league, the Thai Premier League . In 2016 he went to Rayong and joined the second division club PTT Rayong FC . In mid-2018 he was loaned to the Japanese second division team Kyōto Sanga for six months . After he returned to Rayong, the contract was not renewed. The newly promoted MOF Customs United FC from Bangkok signed him in early 2019. After one season he will move to league rivals Navy FC in Sattahip in 2020 .
