Gabriel Michael Pruitt (born April 19, 1986 in Los Angeles ) is an American basketball player .
Career
Pruitt began his basketball career at the University of Southern California . After college, he was selected 32nd in the 2007 NBA Draft by the Boston Celtics . At the Celtics he was little used in the 2007/08 season , instead he played mainly for the NBA D-League team Utah Flash .
In 2008/09 Pruitt played in 47 NBA games for the Celtics and was used for an average of eight minutes. In 2009/10 he was again active in the D-League, this time for the Los Angeles D-Fenders and again for the Utah Flash. For the 2010/11 season Pruitt then signed a contract with the Israeli club Ironi Ashkelon .
For the 2011/12 season he returned to the USA and signed a contract with the Sioux Falls Skyforce from the D-League .
