Gabriel Justice Yaw Anokye

Gabriel Justice Yaw Anokye (born May 27, 1960 in Emenaa ) is Archbishop of Kumasi .

Life

The Bishop of Kumasi, Peter Kwasi Sarpong , ordained him a priest on July 16, 1988 .

Pope John Paul II appointed him titular bishop of Cellae in Mauretania and auxiliary bishop in Kumasi on October 30, 2003 . He was ordained bishop by the Archbishop of Kumasi, Peter Kwasi Sarpong, on January 17, 2004; Co- consecrators were George Kocherry , Apostolic Nuncio in Ghana , and Gregory E. Kpiebaya , Archbishop of Tamale .

Pope Benedict XVI appointed him on March 26, 2008 Bishop of Obuasi and on May 15, 2012 as Archbishop of Kumasi.
