Gabriel Koyambounou

Gabriel Jean Edouard Koyambounou (* 1947 ) is a former politician from the Central African Republic .

Life

During the presidency of Ange-Félix Patassé , he became Prime Minister on April 12, 1995, and held this post for fourteen months until June 11, 1996.

On December 6, 2004, he was charged with misusing public funds. He later became 2nd Vice President of the Mouvement pour la Liberation du Peuple Centrafricain (MLPC) founded by Patassé and took over the management of the MLPC as 1st Vice President in January 2006 after chairman Luc Dondon Apollinaire Konamabaye was relieved of his duties.

In 2006 he was appointed Inspector General of the Presidential Office by President François Bozizé .
