Gabriele Wulff

Gabriele Wulff (* 1957 in Hamburg ) is a German pianist and piano teacher .

Life

Gabriele Wulff received her pianistic and pedagogical training in Hamburg and Lübeck from Eliza Hansen , Peter Hartmann and Alexander Rößler. She completed master classes and studies with Vitali Margulis, Ludmilla Ginzburg and Helena Costa as well as Sigrid Steinbrecher. In addition, she received six years of private studies with Conrad Hansen .

In 1979 she graduated from the HFTM Hamburg the state exam for piano pedagogy, studied in parallel at the Hamburg Conservatory Music education with completion in 1977 and reached the concert diploma in 1986 at the University of Music Lübeck . She is a member of the German Tonkünstlerverband and a board member there.

She leads a piano class at the Hamburg Conservatory, gives seminars and master classes for piano, chamber music and prepared piano ( John Cage ) with a focus on contemporary music. She also founded and heads the Institute for Pianistics, a piano academy in Hamburg.

Concert tours have taken her through Europe, the USA, Central America, Asia and the Ukraine, etc. a. with soloists from the Metropolitan Opera (Christina Ascher, New York) and the London Symphony Orchestra (Paul Silverthorne, London Symphony Orchestra and Prof. the Royal Academy) with works by Mozart, Beethoven, Schumann, Brahms, Chopin and John Cage, including: Funchal (Madraira), Municipal Theater Baltazar Dias, Festival “Sounds of the Inner Eye” in the Glocke, Bremen, Festival “Two Days and Nights” Odessa (Ukraine) and Busan Biennale (South Korea).
