Gaisberg is a village in the municipality of Tiefgraben in Upper Austria.
The Rotte, located on the hill of the same name, a foothills of the Kolomansberg , is located southwest of Mondsee , originally consisted of a few buildings on a hillside and the people mainly ran cattle. The village also includes the Rotten Höribachl, Leiten and Riedl, as well as several individual layers , including the Gasthaus Leidinger Hof and the Erlachmühle . With the establishment of tourism on the Mondsee in the second half of the 20th century, the place was converted and expanded in several stages into a housing estate with a view over the Mondsee . This development was recently boosted by the golf course in neighboring St. Lorenz .
