Gaocheng ( Chinese 藁城 区 , Pinyin Gǎochéng Qū ) is a municipality in the prefecture -level city of Shijiazhuang , the capital of Hebei Province in the People's Republic of China . It has an area of 836 km² and as of 2018 had around 840,000 inhabitants.
Administrative structure
In September 2014 was out of the erstwhile independent city a municipality formed. As of 2019, it manages 12 large communities , one nationality community and one development area. These are:
- Large communities Lianzhou (廉 州镇), Xing'an (兴安 镇), Chang'an (常 安镇), Jiashizhuang (贾 市 庄镇), Nanying (南 营镇), Meihua (梅花 镇), Zhangjiazhuang (张家 inden) , Gangshang (岗 上 镇), Nandong (南 董 镇), Zengcun (增 村镇), Nanmeng (南孟 镇), Xiguan (西 关镇),
- Jiumen der Hui National Community
- the Shijiazhuang Economic Development Area.
These administrative units are in turn divided into a total of 226 villages .
Culture
The Taixi site (Taixi yizhi 台西 遗址) from the middle and late period of the Shang period has been on the list of monuments of the People's Republic of China (6-8) since 2006 .
