Gargnäs ( South Sami Draehkie , Umesamisch Dráhkie ) is a small place ( småort ) in the Swedish municipality of Sorsele in the province of Västerbottens län in the historical province (landskap) Lapland .

Gargnäs lies like an island between four lakes, Hemsjön, Lillträsket, Aspuddselet and Gargån, with only narrow land bridges to the surrounding area. The place is about ten kilometers east of Blattnicksele , where there is a rail connection to the Inland Railway . It is about thirty kilometers to the main town of the municipality, Sorsele .

In Gargnäs there is a small airfield called Garglanda .
