Gary Bock (born March 7, 1984 in Benoni , South Africa ) is a South African ice hockey goalkeeper who has played for the Johannesburg Wildcats in the Gauteng Province Ice Hockey League since 2013 .

Career

Gary Bock began his career with the Johannesburg Scorpions, for which he was in goal for the first time in the 2002 season in the Gauteng Province Ice Hockey League , one of the regional ice hockey leagues in South Africa, whose champions play the South African national champions at the end of the season. From 2007 to 2009 he played for the Krugersdorp Wildcats. even after the Wildcats moved to Johannesburg in 2010, he remained loyal to the club.

International

In the junior area, Bock was in goal at the U18 World Cup in Division III 2002 . He also played at the U20 World Championships in 2003 and 2004 in Division II for South Africa.

For the men's selection , he played at the World Championships of Division II in 2003 , 2006 , 2009 and 2012 as well as Division III in 2005 , 2007 , 2008 , 2010 , when he scored the lowest goal against goals of the tournament in 2017 . The Springboks were promoted to Division II in 2005 and 2008.
