The Gauliga Mittelrhein 1935/36 was the third season of the Gauliga Mittelrhein of the German Football Association . The Gauliga was played again this season in a group of ten teams in a round- robin tournament . The Gau championship was secured for the first time by the Cologne CfR and thus qualified for the German soccer championship 1935/36 , in which the Cologne team were last in a group with Fortuna Düsseldorf , FC Hanau 93 and SV Waldhof Mannheim , which was not enough to advance. The two Trier clubs Eintracht and Westmark have been relegated. Spvgg Andernach and SV Beuel 06 rose from the district leagues .
