Siekierczyn ( German Geibsdorf ) is a village in the powiat Lubański in Poland , west of the city of Lubań in the Lower Silesian Voivodeship , and the seat of the rural community of the same name ( gmina wiejska ). Before 1945 the place was called Geibsdorf.

History of the Rudzica district
The row village was founded in the 13th century. In 1386 it came into the possession of the Lauban Magdalen convent . Before 1945 the agricultural village had around 750 inhabitants, of which around 550 were Catholic ( Pfaffendorf ) and 200 Protestant. In addition to the Catholic church, there was a Protestant church since the 19th century.
