Rengshausen community
The municipality of Rengshausen was a short-term large municipality in the former northern Hessian district of Rotenburg . It was formed in the course of the regional reform in Hesse on December 31, 1971 through the merger of the previously independent communities of Hausen , Lichtenhagen , Nausis , Nenterode and Rengshausen .
On January 1, 1974, when the Schwalm-Eder district was formed , the municipality of Rengshausen and the municipalities of Berndshausen and Niederbeisheim were incorporated into the larger municipality of Knüllwald by state law . Local districts were established for all former municipalities .
