Dickson Prize in Medicine

The Dickson Pize in Medicine was founded in 1969 by Joseph Z. Dickson and Agnes Fischer Dickson. It is awarded annually by the University of Pittsburgh and honors US citizens who have made significant contributions to medicine. The prize money is 50,000 US dollars , including a bronze medal and a lecture. 14 of the 52 winners later received a Nobel Prize (as of June 2020).

The Dickson Prize in Science is awarded annually by Carnegie Mellon University .
