Nenterode is a district of the municipality Knüllwald in the north Hessian Schwalm-Eder district .

Geographical location

In the north of the Knüllgebirge in North Hesse , the state road 3465 passes.

history

The village was first mentioned in a document of 15 February 1353. The "court Rengshausen " with the villages Hausen, Licherode, Lichtenhagen, Nausis and Nenterode belonged starting from 1579 to the Hessian Office Rotenburg , which from 1627 to 1835 part of the Rotenburger Quart was .

In the course of the regional reform in Hesse , the new large community with the name Rengshausen was formed on December 31, 1971 through the amalgamation of the previously independent communities Hausen , Lichtenhagen , Nausis , Nenterode and Rengshausen .
