Location of the Altshausen community administration association in the Ravensburg district | ||
The Gemeindeverwaltungsverband Altshausen based in Altshausen next to the eponymous municipality covers ten other independent communities of Altshauser environment.
history
The area of the municipal administration association belonged to the Saulgau district until the administrative reform of the 1970s . At that time the independence of the communities around Altshausen was largely retained. However, the municipality of Geigelbach was incorporated into the municipality of Musbach in 1967 and the resulting municipality merged with Ebersbach in 1971 to form the new municipality of Ebersbach-Musbach; Hüttenreute was incorporated into Hoßkirch. In order to ensure efficient administration in the municipalities, some of which only have around 200 inhabitants, many administrative tasks were transferred to the Althausen Municipal Administration Association, which the municipalities voluntarily agreed in 1972. The communities have belonged to the Ravensburg district since 1973 .
Nine of the surrounding municipalities of the Althausen administrative association are the nine smallest municipalities in the district according to their number of inhabitants, Ebersbach-Musbach is the eleventh smallest municipality in the district.
The administrative association is based in the former Kavaliershaus at Ebersbacher Strasse 4 in Altshausen. Timo Egger is the managing director.
