Genadijus Linas Vodopjanovas
Genadijus Linas Vodopjanovas OFM (born June 8, 1973 in Neringa ) is a Lithuanian religious and Roman Catholic bishop of Panevėžys .
Life
Genadijus Linas Vodopjanovas met on 4 June 1993, the religious order of the Franciscans in, put on 15 August 1996, the perpetual profession from and received on 15 August 1999, the diaconate . The Bishop of Telšiai , Antanas Vaičius , ordained him on July 15, 2000 .
Pope Benedict XVI appointed him on February 11, 2012 titular bishop of Quiza and auxiliary bishop in Telšiai. The Archbishop of Vilnius , Audrys Juozas Cardinal Bačkis , donated him episcopal ordination on April 14 of the same year ; Co- consecrators were Jonas Boruta SJ , Bishop of Telšiai, and Sigitas Tamkevičius SJ, Archbishop of Kaunas . He chose Beati Pacifici as his motto .
On May 20, 2016, Pope Francis appointed him Bishop of Panevėžys .
