The Diocese of Telšiai ( lat . : Dioecesis Telsensis , lit. Telšių vyskupija ) is a Roman Catholic diocese in northwestern Lithuania with its seat in Telšiai (Telsche).

The Telšiai diocese belongs to the Kaunas metropolitan area and was founded in 1926 when the administrative boundaries of the Roman Catholic Church in the Baltic States were adjusted to the political boundaries.

The bishopric is in Telšiai (Telsche).

On December 24, 1991, the Free Prelature Memel (Klaipėdos prelatūra) , which was also founded in 1926 and formed from four Catholic Memelland parishes of the Diocese of Warmia , was assigned to the Telscher diocese area with the last 14 parishes. Since then, the third largest city in Lithuania, the important port city of Klaipėda ( Memel ), has belonged to the diocesan area.
