Gentil Delazari

Gentil Delázari (born September 9, 1940 in Relvado , Rio Grande do Sul , Brazil ) is a Brazilian clergyman and emeritus bishop of Sinop .

Life

Gentil Delázari received on 13 July 1968, the sacrament of Holy Orders .

On 9 February 1994 appointed him Pope John Paul II. To Coadjutor Bishop of Sinop . The bishop of Santa Cruz do Sul , Aloísio Sinésio Bohn , donated him episcopal ordination on March 27 of the same year ; Co- consecrators were the Bishop of Sinop, Henrique Froehlich SJ , and the Bishop Emeritus of Santa Cruz do Sul, Alberto Frederico Etges . On March 22, 1995, Gentil Delázari became Bishop of Sinop, succeeding Henrique Froehlich SJ, who resigned for reasons of age.

On January 20, 2016, Pope Francis accepted Gentil Delázari's resignation due to reasons of age.
