More than 100 employees work at the Georg Schlesinger School (teachers, non-educational staff in offices, laboratories and workshops).

The Georg-Schlesinger-Schule has consistently had more than 2000 students in around 110 classes in recent years . Its largest area is the vocational school with trainees in the dual professions. With her field-oriented teaching, she accompanies the company training and leads to the qualification as a skilled worker or journeyman .

Other courses of study are the technical college and the vocational school, which lead to the technical college entrance qualification or the technical diploma. Both courses focus on the requirements of the mechanical and production engineering occupational area, which also determines the professional profile of the upper level in the vocational high school. In this three-year training course, the nationwide recognized general higher education entrance qualification is imparted, including initial practical experience in metal technology and mechatronics as well as theoretical knowledge in mechanical engineering.
