public integrated secondary school 12K03 The school was founded as a community school by Reinickendorf on April 1, 1907. Construction of the school on Auguste-Viktoria-Allee did not begin until March 1, 1908, and only eight rooms were completed for school operations in autumn 1908 and 1909.

In the years 1912–1914 an extension was necessary due to the high number of students. The building was expanded into the depth of the property, while the street front remained relatively narrow.
