Georg Anton Graf Jelacic (Jellacic) of Bužim ( Croatian Đuro Jelačić Bužimski ) (* 25. May 1805 in Petrovaradin (Petrovaradin) ; † 20th July 1901 in Novi Dvori , Croatia ), was a nobleman of Croatian descent, kk Field Marshal Lieutenant , Major General and owner of Infantry Regiment No. 69.

Georg Jelačić joined the Prohaska 7th Infantry Regiment as a cadet , and after four years became an officer in the Grand Duke of Tuscany Dragoons . He then served in several border regiments, Jelačić was also among those officers who took part in the war that broke out between the gate and the viceroy of Egypt in 1839 . As a colonel, he fought in the campaign in 1848 and 1849 in the First Banal Border Regiment No. 10 in Italy . He took part in the siege of Peschiera del Garda , the storming of Brescia and the siege of Venice . Then he advanced to major general on July 22, 1849 and on January 14, 1856 to field marshal lieutenant and owner of Infantry Regiment No. 69. In the Italian campaign of 1859 he was a division general in the 2nd Army Corps and fought at Palestro and Solferino .

The Army Ordinance Gazette No. 34 of 1861, at its head the imperial handbillet , surprisingly published the following bulletin: “The Lieutenant Field Marshal Georg Graf Jelačić is to be accepted into the normal pension status (on September 1, 1861). Laxenburg on August 16, 1861. Countess Hermine was the sister of Princess Friederike Fugger von Babenhausen. He was the former head of the Jelačić family and the second brother of the Banus Josip Jelačić of Bužim .
