Georg M. Hafner
Georg Michael Hafner (born October 3, 1947 in Heidelberg ) is a German television journalist .
Life
After studying art history and German studies , he was awarded a Dr. phil is doing his doctorate .
Until 2012, Hafner was head of the “Politics and Society” editorial department at hr-fernsehen and a commentator on the ARD Tagesthemen . For his film documentaries he received a. a. the Bavarian Television Prize , the Adolf Grimme Prize and the Prix Europa . Together with Esther Schapira, he is the recipient of the “ Buber Rosenzweig Medal ” of the Society for Christian-Jewish Cooperation. He has been a freelance journalist and book author since 2012.
