Buber Rosenzweig Medal

The Buber-Rosenzweig-Medal has been awarded annually since 1968 in memory of the Jewish philosophers and educators Martin Buber (1878–1965) and Franz Rosenzweig (1886–1929).

The undoped award is given during the annual Fraternity Week by the German Coordination Council of Societies for Christian-Jewish Cooperation (DKR), based in Bad Nauheim, to personalities, initiatives or institutions who are committed to understanding between Christians and Jews have made a contribution in the fields of science, culture, politics or society for Christian-Jewish cooperation.
