Georg Pfeiffer (born May 21, 1825 in Neckarbischofsheim ; † February 16, 1900 in Illenau ) was a German administrative officer.

Life

Georg Pfeiffer, son of a magistrate, attended the high school in Karlsruhe. Subsequently, he studied from 1844 to 1847 law at the Ruprecht-Karls-University of Heidelberg . In 1845 he became a member of the Corps Suevia Heidelberg . In 1850 he became a legal intern and in 1854 a trainee lawyer. In 1855 he went on a six-month study trip to France and England. In 1856 he became an assistant at the Heidelberg district office and in 1859 at the cork district office . In 1861 Pfeiffer became a bailiff and second civil servant at the Mannheim city ​​office and in 1865 at the Emmendingen district office . In 1866 he was appointed senior bailiff and board member of the Neustadt district office . In 1871 he moved to the District Office Wiesloch and in June 1875 District Office Eppingen . After just eight days in the new office, he was put into temporary retirement to restore his health, which he spent in Heidelberg and later in Aschaffenburg .
