Georg W. Reinberg

Georg Wolfgang Reinberg (* 1950 in Vienna , Austria ) is an Austrian architect . The focus of his work is on a combination of the use of renewable energies , the participation of users and the use of ecological building materials , which has become known under the term of solar architecture . Georg W. Reinberg studied at the Technical University of Vienna and at Syracuse University in New York .

He has been working as a freelance architect since 1985. He has been running the office together with his wife Martha Enriquez Reinberg since 1990. In 2010 Georg W. Reinberg received the Golden Merit of the City of Vienna for his advisory board .

Reinberg has taught at the Vienna University of Technology , Graz University of Technology , the Solar Building School Vorarlberg , the Danube University Krems , the University of Florence , the Università degli Study della Basilicata (Italy), Isthmus ( Panama ) and the Universidad da los Andes in Colombia .
