Georg Wilhelm von Goes

Georg Wilhelm von Goes (born June 25, 1789 in Windsheim ; † May 27, 1849 in Stuttgart ) was a German administrative lawyer in Württemberg.

Life

Georg Wilhelm von Goes was the son of pastor Carl Georg Friedrich Goes. He attended Windsheim High School . On December 12, 1806 , he enrolled at the University of Erlangen for law. Like two brothers, he became a member of the Onoldia Corps , which reciprocated on May 9, 1807 . He was elected consenior on September 15, 1808 , and Michaelis left the university in 1809. He entered the administrative service of the Kingdom of Württemberg , which was established in 1806 . He rose from the Privy Legation Council (1817) to the Cabinet Secretary (1832) and the First Cabinet Secretary (1841) to the Council of State (1843). 1828-1831 he was a member of the central office of the agricultural association. He was decommissioned in 1847 and received the title of Excellence in 1848 . He died shortly before his 60th birthday.
